WHAT DOES GOD KNOW ABOUT YOU?

Gen 18:19
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Act 13:22
And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Both of these men God knew what they would do before they even had a chance to prove themselves. The child that Abraham had been responsible for previously, Lot, had not turned out very good. David was only a shepherd boy.
There is only one explanation for this, God knows the heart. 1Sa 16:7  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
How much can we fool people? Very much, quite often. You can do an excellent job with your outwards appearance, by going to Church every time the doors are open, and knowing your Bible from cover to cover, and wearing the right clothes. But your insides are what really matters. God knows the real reason for everything we do. He sees the real you. Not the "you" that your family and friends see, but the one that is inside.
How many times have you asked Him if He wants you to be in the ministries that you are involved in? Or if He wants you to take on more? I myself am one who wants to help, so I will take on ministries, and not realize that I am taking on more than God wants me to have.
How many times was Paul eager to go to these different places, but the Spirit wouldn't allow them to?
Seeing the need does not constitute the calling, as my Dad has said many times. But then, there are times that we may see the need, and God wants to call us, but we don't have the right heart, and He can't use us. He knows what we need to be doing, and how much we can handle, and He knows our hearts to whether or not we will accomplish His will. His will should be our goal. Oh yes, we often say that we want it. But do we truly want it? How is your heart?

I also wanted to give an updated to all the ladies.
I am going to be going to Landmark Baptist College, in Haines City, FL, this fall. August 11th is when I am leaving. Please pray for me, as I travel, and open this new chapter in my life.
Also, I am requesting that you ladies pray about who will take over writing the newsletters. I appologize that this is so late, I have been extremely busy. But for that reason, and for the fact I am going to college, I have begun to realize that someone else will nee to take over. Please pray with me about who the right person would be.
Thank you.
